Counselling Services Nottingham offers you a flexible approach to therapy I work Face 2 Face, via the phone or SKYPE
Counselling sessions are as often as you need. Usually one session per week; sometimes, however, every other week might be better for some clients. Sessions last for 50 minutes. People chose to self-fund counselling for many reasons.
- Face to face – £70
- Telephone / online therapy £70
- Insurance funded counselling – £75 to £100
Counselling Services Nottingham accepts payments by cash, cheque, bank transfer or debit card. Counselling Services Nottingham is a registered and approved provider for the following private medical insurers, Vitality, Aviva and Aetna Global Benefits.
I never encourage clients to come longer than they want and/or need. I feel it’s a myth that everyone who comes to therapy needs to be in therapy for months and months or even years and years!
Often change can happen quickly, or clients can acquire the tools in therapy to go on to make changes after therapy has finished. . You may be entitled to claim for your counselling, psychotherapy or therapy using your private medical insurance

At our first meeting, we can discuss what you hope to get from counselling and how we can work towards that. This will be flexible; you will have the choice to continue or not.
I do try to be as flexible as possible and will attempt to work with you to make your therapy fit in with your life. We will work together to formulate the best way forward from our first meeting onwards and can regularly review how things are going in our work together.
Of course if after the first session, or at any other time, you decide you no longer wish to continue you are not obligated to continue. I do have to make a cancellation charge for sessions that are missed with less than 48 hours notice.

How much does private Nottingham counselling cost?
My Fee is £65. This can be paid in cash, credit / debit card or bank transfer after each session. Some additional charges may apply when working with employee assistance programmes and / or insurance-funded counselling.
Can I pay for Counselling with my health insurance?
In some cases, yes. You need to check with your health insurance provider. Sometimes they limit the number of sessions they will fund and apply other conditions.
How long is a counselling session?
